Brian Reager (Director) is a New York-based theatre director and theatremaker. He has served as the Associate Director of the cell assisting Artistic Director Kira Simring in the incubation and development of countless new works and productions since 2014. Recent directing credits include Hoard (Off The Wall), Deanna and Paul, The Long Wet Grass, and The Real McGonagall. In addition to the cell he’s worked on new work presented at JACK, Irish Repertory, The Vineyard and more. Seamus Scanlon (Playwright) is a native of Galway, Ireland whose writing has appeared in The Irish Times, The Sunday Tribune, Promethean, Journal of Experimental Fiction, Review of Post Graduate English Studies, Global City Review, the Roanoke Review , Gemini Magazine and Noir by Noir West (Arlen House, 2014). His story collection As Close As You'll Ever Be (Cairn Press, 2012) garnered many positive reviews. Recent achievements include a residency at the MacDowell Artists Colony and a fellowship from the Center for Fiction in New York. He is a Resident Artist at the cell, where his development as a dramatist began and where an acclaimed production of Dancing at Lunacy was staged in 2012. In 2014 the cell produced Seamus’ The McGowan Trilogy with direction by Artistic Director Kira Simring which went on to be performed at KINO Theatre in the UK, as well as a sold out run at at the Toyohashi Arts Theatre PLAT in Japan directed by Eriko Ogawa. Seamus’ other plays have been read as part of the cell's monthly salons, at the Arthouse INKubator series and at the NEWvember New Play Festival. Ricardo Romaneiro (Audio Engineer) Composer & electronic artist Ricardo Romaneiro was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil and moved to the U.S. at an early age. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Ricardo’s music synthesizes his major musical influences & passions: classical music & electronic music. The New York Times described his work as “a blissful and compelling mix of Minimalist-derived rhythmic ecstasy and nightclub beats”. His music has been featured, performed and commissioned in eclectic range of institutions, festivals, and projects such as the Museum of Modern Art’s Summergarden Series, New Juilliard Ensemble, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Metropolis Ensemble, Wordless Music, Ensemble LPR, Nu Deco Ensemble, ECCE, American Composers Orchestra, Quintet of the Americas, the Alvin Ailey Dance Company, Colorado Ballet at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, and the Sacramento Ballet. Ricardo’s music has been featured on NPR live broadcast from Prospect Park Bandshell as part of Celebrate Brooklyn! summer concerts.
