The Long Wet Grass is one of  three interrelated plays that make up The McGowan Trilogy which was first produced by Nancy Manocherian’s the cell in 2014. The Trilogy won awards for Best Design, Best Director (Kira Simring) and Best Actress for Anna Nugent in her role in The Long Wet Grass.  The McGowan Trilogy was part of Origin’s 1st Irish Theatre Festival in New York in 2014.
