The summer of 1980, Bronx, NY. The neighborhood is still feeling the repercussions of the Bronx fires. Patches of blocks are charred and desolate. Also the drug epidemic and gang violence is getting worse. One of the last few remaining things that are still pure is the music and the block parties.
