With a soothing, velvet voice, New York singer Jackie Gage celebrates the January 20th release her new single With a soothing, velvet voice, New York singer Jackie Gage celebrates the January 20th release her new single "A Secret Place."

This warm and angelic song celebrates the beauty of Jackie's hometown, San Jose, California.

Bay Area native Jackie Gage has spent the last three years performing in New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland.

But despite her many journeys, one longstanding love she's felt throughout this time is her longing for home.

Jackie said a recent interview with Metro, interviewed by Gary Singh, "So much is different than being at home," she said of New York, "the people, the food, the sights, familiar faces, things like that. I find a lot of solace in writing music..."

"I was reflecting on how the sky looks when I'm home, or looking at flowers that are planted nearby, and the smell of certain redwood trees. That nostalgia was what guided me in making this song possible."

"A Secret Place" was produced by Richie Goods and DJ Gomi in Brooklyn, NY.
This single release follows a successful Indiegogo campaign, funded by supporters of Jackie's music nation-wide. For this tour she will be joined by internationally-acclaimed saxophonist Irwin Hall (Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melody Gardot).
