Begun in September 2008, the reading series is interested in writers at all stages of their careers—delighted with new discoveries, excited about successful authors, and open to genre and style. We welcome the public to share with us our love of story.
The series is hosted by Karen Heuler
Karen Heuler has had more than fifty stories published in literary and speculative journals and anthologies, and is the author of two novels, The Soft Room and Journey to Bom Goody, and the short story collection The Other Doors. She’s won an O. Henry Award and been shortlisted for the Shirley Jackson Award, the Bellwether Prize, and the Iowa Short Fiction Award, among other distinctions. She teaches writing at NYU’s SCPS and leads private workshops.
